    What is it about hitting 40? Since my birthday, my joints have packed up, I'm getting more colds and "Old man" illnesses..... Uff!

    Well, that was disappointing. Missed breakfast and detour enroute to work to photgraph the ECS working with Tornado crossing Ouse Valley Viaduct North of Haywards Heath. It was on time, the sun was shining and it was warm... but on the rear, not 60163, but a red and gold 66. Herumph! Where's Tornado gone?

    Just got home in mid sussex after a cracking weekend at the ELR.... one day riding and one day trackside. Hightlights : being at front door of front coach behind 55002 and 55022 double header, the smoke filling the front coach as all 5 deltics accelerated us through the tunnels (Storming!) and a few mins in the cab of 16 between Rams and Rawten (Thanks Martin)... hopefully soem good photos... but a bit tired to try a download tonight!
