Morning lads... Apologies for my absence. Had a few flat days and just needed some time to snap out of it. Everything got on top of me and I couldn't really be bothered with much. Thankfully I managed to get some focus and moved all my stock out of my railway room into storage which has helped considerably. I now have plenty of space to work and hopefully getting the layout started again will take my mind off other things. One day I'll work out how to post stuff in a blog and give you guys an update.... Sorry to hear about your loss DD. 43 is no age at all. Sometimes we just take life for granted...

I've posted in a seperate thread, but had a call from Howes that Heljan are proving some revised CV values for the lighting if you are running on DCC. Morning all.....HoooooRayyyyyyy. Mr BT waved his magic wand last night and I'm back to up to 4024Kbps from 135. Feels like I've just set foot in a Ferrari. No idea weatherwise, but a very cool draught came in as I let the cats out.

Seeing as it's currently 119kbps, the memories are flooding back....but thanks to DD, I have the top man on the case. Been trying to work out the difference between a layout posting and a blog. It seems a blog is to tell all and sundry what you've been doing, without the forum interrupting.... and then if someone butts in, no one else knows. I have no idea why, but then perhaps the yoof of today will let me know what I'm missing out on. I think I'm reaching the point in my life where I will step out of modern living and be forever grumbling.... Realised I've gone past my sell by date and will soon be left behind. ....but am I bovvered.

Morning all.... Still doing battle with BT. Even the CEO is hiding from me now... I'm amazed the internet ever got off the ground at dial up speeds. I see all the ER ring leaders have been downgraded to nobodies. Maybe Andy is trying to tell us something. Glad to see you made it BoD.

Morning guys....BT have me back on a 135Kbps line, but they are doing their best to sort it. After the engineer was here last week it was at 4098Kbps, so everything is taking a lifetime to function. Bit like me I 'spose. Enjoyed Saturday on South Pimlico and great to meet a few familiar faces.

Evening DD. Glad to see you found your way in. The paint's still wet and smells a bit, but the decorator has assured us all will be fine once we become acclimatised to our new home. Spent the afternoon finding my way round and wouldn't you know it, some beggar has nicked my parking place...
