  3. Liking this a 'ell of a lot, keep the pics flowing
  4. This was the cover shot from the film 'The Navigators' (well worth a watch) which was made in 2001, so I would suspect, the crewbus was brought for the film and painted into pseudo BR colours, hence why the typeface may be wrong. Well spotted Miss Marple!
  5. Merf, Tom Young, the guy who runs the LTSV site is a very approachable guy, if you want to know more about his LTSV site, email him, feel free to name drop me if you wish. Kev

  9. Coming soon to a model shop near you, ref OXF76DEF007.
  10. It is a pre-pro, so I guess we'll be waiting and seeing, all else fails, use some nail varnish remover to remove the window and just have it as a NR van or produce a better home made transfer to lay over the top.
  11. Lifted from the John Ayrey website, release date is 2012 tba. Check out other Oxford Diecast releases for 2012, do a google search for 'John Ayrey', click on product lists>Oxford Diecast>OO Gauge. Look for release dates of 2012 for the new announcements. Kevin

  14. A teddy bear's picnic it is then! SJ went to bed on the first night in it's new home muttering something about "do I look like I do corporate image?"
  15. I have some MK1 subs ready for body removal Just looked at the wholesalers and the mk1 BR escorts are a very favourable price!
  16. I thought they were mk2s, if memory serves me, they were in a lighter shade of yellow as per the ones in the pic. Black bumpers as well.
  17. I'm sure that was a faint hint of a red double arrow on the sides of each van Still either, either, or.
  18. I have a wholesale account with a diecast supplier if you need it!
  19. You said not to ask why, just one question... Loving the new layout, do you need a home for Drewry Lane now? Operated from the front, you haven't built this for your own satisfaction, I hope! Did you get my PM re SJ Stu?
  20. Looks stunning Was the diecast base a matchbox by any chance?
  21. In case is interested in seeing the prototype and others http://www.flickr.co...in/photostream/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/30794964@N03/3137256641/in/photostream/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/30794964@N03/3138083866/in/photostream/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/30794964@N03/3137256437/in/photostream/
  22. Great stuff Stu, Thanks for the play on Saturday, it's amazing how even a small layout like this can draw you in, I could have lost myself for hours, all I can say to RMWebbers is if you get the chance, see this layout and appreciate what can be done in a minimal space, great entertainment. Sorry I couldn't help for longer. Hope the stop-start problems under the bridge sort themselves out, let me know what it was. Regards, Kev
  23. Stu, I will be along on Saturday, but only until midday, more than happy to help if you train me up on the 'frame', assume it's slightly more complicated than Jude!!!
  24. What a beast!!! I would offer that the green strobe looking light on the front panel is actually blue, based on comparing it to the repeater blues on the rad grille. Orange lights are usually on police vehicles if they have airfield duties attached to them, being a control unit, it is more than possible that this would be required for all incidents requiring this vehicle, dare I suggest one such incident could be a plane crash??? the round mullarkey on th roof is a raisable mast so has to indicate the location of the vehicle ans well as often having floodlights fitted as well, it's not unusual for these to have multiple lights fitted.
