      Half the altitude of the first US Mercury sub-orbital flight in 1961.  The only thing that can be said is that it looks a lot more comfortable than a Mercury capsule! Their infographic says that 100Km is "the edge of space", and they were 14km off that. If they can get that thing into orbit, I'd agree.

       

      But "astronaut wings" at the moment? Nahhhh...

       

      (I wonder if the in-flight catering was as dire as Virgin Atlantic?)

      Virgin Flight attendants are all blonde to begin with either and as security at Heathrow back in the day, we could tell how cold it was with Virgin crews ;) 

       

      The boundary for space is the Karman line - which is 50 miles - hence why the X-15 Pilots got astronaut wings  ;)
