Hall class 5998 Trevor Hall heads east with a train of empty cattle wagons. The venerable barn is the old kit from Wills and is certainly not in the same league as the scratch-built model on Chuffnell Regis @Graham T

Thanks for the information. Always interesting to hear another persons views on a product. Is it just the grey you’ve used or any of the other colours in the range?
Out of interest what’s the viscosity like, does it lend itself well to brushing and/or spraying? It's airbrush ready, though they are new company they'll do a brushing version later on. it's got a very high pigment count so has excellent coverage. send them a message about the paints.

Thanks @Kevin Johnson but I can't take any credit for it as it's the work of @toboldlygo working from a photo in the Prairie Papers.
Who? Me?

As promised a photo shewing the underneath of the Rapido Mink although some help is/might be needed to ascertain whether I'm missing some of the brake gear on my sample. Maybe @BenLcan check his ?
I was surprised to read the paperwork enclosed with these and see a photo of Tigley Junction signal box in the background.😮
looks like a brass pin point bearing's come adrift....

Put away the Knickers chaps, it's time for a serious question for serious Modellers (including CK, Mr Tooth and Mr Sheep-person).
Has anyone attempted to remove the Shirbutton emblem on a Dapol 63XX Tender. Not as an act of defiance but as a prep for a swap to another emblem? If so, how did you achieve that please?
I arsk as I have acquired and almost new 6385 with decent SW Digital Sound fitted and want to change the Tender markings suitable for 1960 - 62.
6346 first choice (Exeter until 12/62); 6356 second choice (Westbury until 10/62); 6376 third choice (Barrow Road until 5/62). All these are correct for a no OPs and no Cab Side Windows as far as can see.
IF one can get outside Pipes as a spare to fit, that opens up the choices a great deal of course. Can these be obtained or 'fettled'?
Many thanks,
Mad Duck.
Microsol - leave it on for at least 15 minutes and rub the shirtbutton off with a Q-tip and a decent cocktail stick, did it on our lord and master Robins one.

I do like black Halls, they're just that bit different. I have one ready to paint myself, and a Star, just wondering what colour was used; did toboldlygo paint it for you, I'm sure I saw it on his blog at one stage.
Martin
I think I did a Star in unlined green, used railmatch gwr green for that and the Halls (saint edmund hall) I used /Vallejo Model Air 71.057 Black..

So a bit of an update, no op yet, no surgeons(they were on holiday- typical). In a nutshell, I had a heart attack in the co-op, made it home and Mum phoned an ambulance, they got to us fast, they managed to slow my heart down, before it did any damage, got me to A &E who stabilised me by rebooting my heart. So I've been stuck here, feeling fine, waiting for the party animals, to come back to work...
