I normally run my stock with the roofs on, so having a finely detailed inside not normally seen seems to me a waste of money, Similarly over detailed underframes not usually seen unless one runs ones stock upside down. It strikes me that all this extra detail takes the need away for railway MODELLERS to actually model, by adding said detail themselves if they feel its needed.

  2. Whilst still waitbing ffor the new custom transfers from Railtec, I noticed that the solw br was a bit on the deep side so after looking at some protype photos of a P18 it was a case of out with the Evergreen strip to deepn the under the fold down doors as per the real thing.

    When well set it was pinted.

    Now just hoping the transfers arrive fairly quickly so they can be applied and the body weathering can commence.

  3. I'e looked at a couple of the mag in my local shop and was  disapponted in the quality of the photos of Drighlington, quite few of them did not appear very sharp unlike the one of Brush Junction. Slightly annoying considering it was mainly a photo rich article and very unusual for MRJ.

  4. How can I contact rail-tec I have tried two different email address over the past couple of weeks, all to no avail. I am inquiring about have some custom transfers made for a wagon I have built.

  5. Some progress on converting the ballast wagon. Sides made and are being test fitted. when Happy i will do the rivets, lots of them???? but to quote Baldrick I do have a plan.

    The dots by the way are to make sure I fit the sides to correct sde of the wagon after fettling.
