These footbridges were failry common in East Lincolnshire-with variations. I
Those last two picture bring back happy memories. I used to love running across that footbridge watching the trains below.

That is absolutely spot on. Great stuff.

I'm really interested to see how your fiddleyard/sector plate develops

Being born and raised in Mablethorpe. I've often thought about modelling it. The last scheme I had developed centred on operations from the Northern end of the station http://4mmscaleagonies.blogspot.com/2009/03/home-sweet-home.html

A model of Wainfleet being constructed in the Canadian Rockies? Awesome. I have an Aunt and Uncle and bunch of cousins live in Wainfleet. Liking the progress of this layout a lot. Maybe my idea of building a fictitious Lincolnshire Branchline here in Minnesota isn't such a mad idea.

Good Stuff. Lately pressures of work and other things have taken me away from modelling. It's always somewhat humbling to come back and see what people are still doing with the APA box..
This is coming along very nicely. Look forward to seeing more.

The Brainerd Local running towards the Paper Mill in Brainerd, MN. I've tried several times to catch this working so far with no luck

Excellent work! I'm not really a fan of "whimsical modelling" but you've pulled this one off really really well.
I really like this. A lot.

I could see myself creating one of these too... Perhaps inside one of the IKEA "APA" boxes I already have. I already have some Micro Engineering track and turnouts and a suitable low relief warehouse to get things started...

Jack:
Another well presented little gem from you. How many layouts do you actually have now?
Hope the show goes well for you

I'll order from wherever the price is right i.e cheapest, and I've never had a problem anywhere.
I'd much rather shop in person though to that end I love hub hobby in Richfield, MN . If you're going to buy a loco you can't beat picking it off the shelf and see it running before you part with your hard earned cash.
Then there is Bakers Hobby supply in St. Cloud, MN they don't have a huge range but when I need styrene and other bits and pieces they pretty much have what I want and they know me by name too. That reminds me the owner asked me about displaying my layouts there later in the year. I'd better get back to him on that...

Looking good. It's coming together well. Overall it's looking very believable.
