  1. I think a preserved railway is a great choice for a model railway. For me though, the biggest problem is that the engines are too clean! If the preserved lines ran some dirty trains then I'd be pleased to model them!
  2. I love this layout. It's got what the French would call 'Je ne sais quoi'. Brilliant. Can I ask, Peter, what model 31323 is? Is it Hornby? Best wishes, Michael
  3. I like the smoke effect TomTank - very atmospheric. Is it one of those used at discos? Hopefully, you will recognise the weed in this shot as it's flowering now!
  4. It was suggested that this photo belongs here.... who am I to argue!
  5. A 2mm padlock? - insane - but I love it. The backdrop is also very nice. Is it painted or a photo? If it is painted, what medium is it?
  6. Lovely - beats many OO gauge layouts. The signalman leaning out of the box really adds to the scene.
  7. The weathering on your diesels is great, Jon, is there anywhere where you 'spill the beans' as I have a few to do! The shed at night.
  8. Hi Missy, I haven't seen your work before - I don't usually look at 2mm stuff as it's not my scale, but I've been missing out haven't I? I am very impressed by your work (so much detail!) and will definitely be looking in regularly from now on. Best wishes, Michael
  9. Will have to try the nail varnish remover myself. Interesting idea for the front numberplate too. Looking forward to more posts.
