There are three stages of dirt Light, Medium and Heavy and on all three is a mix of Airbrush and powder work and all taken of prototype pictures. The price is an extra £25 per wagon, What do you think?
  2. The buffers do pull out from the model so you may be able to swap them over
  3. Please see the attached photos, if you have any more questions let us know
  4. There will be a full update on these including an RRP in the next week or so, we have been working flat out on the Presflo pre-orders this week so once that is at a level we will be back on to these projects 🙂

  6. Morning OzzyO the couplings have just had minor tooling changes completed and are now in production so not too long now!
  7. It is extremely frustrating knowing they should be here now but instead are again delayed. Hopefully they will be on the move very soon and we can get them out to the folk eagerly waiting for them (myself included). As always thanks for the understanding and support they will be worth the wait
  8. Ellis has sent out an update today on these so I have copied and pasted that here for you. To echo the below statement we are very disappointed on the delay but we know these models will be worth waiting for Good morning, We're very aware that we have said for the past couple of weeks now that the Presflos should be with us any day, so here's an update on what's been happening. If you know how we operate, you'll know we are always completely transparent with you for any unforseen delays in one of our projects. If you've joined us on our journey more recently, then you will find we'll always explain why a project is delayed open and honestly - it's also one of the reasons we don't take payments upfront on our pre-orders. In January we booked our place on the ship with an ETA of early - middle of March for the models arriving with us. We did actually pay a large premium to have them shipped out before CNY (Chinese New Year), however there was a backlog in the port from where they were leaving. The current status of the models is that they are in a container in Rotterdam awaiting collection from a smaller vessel, known as a 'Feeder Vessel', to bring them into the UK. The wagons actually arrived in Rotterdam on the 21st of March and we would have expected them within a few days of that date. Unfortunately there appears to be a shortage of these feeder vessels due to high demand. I myself (Ellis) would like to personally apologise for the delay in these wagons, as I know so many of you have patiently and eagerly awaited them for quite some time. All I can say is that I am by the phone daily awaiting the news that they are in the country and will be with us the following day. The ECT family, that's what we call ourselves in the office, are a team that wear our hearts on our sleeves and put everything we have into all our projects, which I'm sure you can see from the lengths we go to, to deliver the most accurate models possible. Again if you have spoken to us over the phone or met us in person and this goes for anyone at ECT, I'm sure you can vouch for our enthusiasm for the hobby and our products. We are a new manufacturing company, so we are always learning and improving every step of the way. I hope you all understand our position and we look forward to picking up the phone and typing the email to inform you of their arrival!
  9. They will be compatible with Kadees They lift up and slot onto a lug which holds them up and in position similar to the pin on the real one but it's part of the hook on ours. I haven't had a look at how they uncouple yet but I should have some answers for you on this when I'm back in work on Tuesday. Kind Regards Chris
  10. Good evening OzzyO, I have attached some images we shared yesterday on our Facebook page. We are at the first stage of testing and already have a few little bits we want to look at adding and altering. Before we progress with them to full production we want to make sure they stand up to what we have outlined for them, so a month of heavy testing will be completed in all sorts of scenarios and any revisions we feel are needed will then be done ready for production. At this stage we do not have a solid delivery date or price as these will be dependent on any revisions we may implement. Hope this helps for now? And we will be sharing images and videos of these going through the testing stages Kind Regards Chris
  11. Sorry for the late reply Paul, I've only just seen this post. I have had a quick look at the info available to me from home and -1-1 is Presflo Cement and -1-7 is just Presflo on the branding. -1-1 is also double vac cylinder fitted where -1-7 is the earlier single vac version and they both feature different ladder types. I have included the link to the Presflo page on our website which should help clear up which each one will be carrying brand-wise to help with your potential pre-order. https://www.ellisclarktrains.co.uk/collections/presflos Kind Regards, Chris
  12. How much at home do our samples look on Mick Worrells Eastfield layout?!
  13. As above they could be found in trip and mixed goods workings all over the country
  14. We are currently quoting the end of January-middle of February at the moment, there are a few issues with production for everyone in China and like most other companies we have been affected by this too. Final assembly is taking place and I have attached some photos we have received to show this Hope this helps?
  15. We will be receiving most of the missing sample parts this coming week and a full sample in around a months time, some exciting few weeks ahead for the Black 5
  16. We spent the evening at the club last night freshening up the ballast and adding fine layers of ash to flatten it all off. Things are starting to progress again and in the next week or so I'll get some fresh pictures with all the buildings back in place
  17. We really think they will be worth the wait. We are at Hornby Mags Great Electric Train Show in October and the deco samples will be on display along with our other other projects Chris
  18. The roofs will be clip fit like and secured with screws from underneath so access with be really easy and convenient. Hope this helps? Chris
  19. Good Morning all, I have attached some of our first renders to show off the range of Pullman cars currently going through our design teams desk for the Kitchen, Parlour and Brake Third as well as the converted brake Thirds too. We are confident they will be one of the most detailed Cars on the market with fully lit interiors and table lamps to compliment! Have a look through them and we look forward to hearing any feedback. Chris
  20. The folk who came over to the ECT Summer Exhibition will have had chance to see our first Pre-production sample of the forth coming Wichham Trolley and trailers. I have attached some images below, there are a few very small changes we will be making but overall we are very happy with the progress. Chris
  21. Unfortunately they have taken another slight delay and are now expected to land with us at the end of October/ Early November. If we hear any more news either way I will pop back on here with an update as and when we get it. Hope this helps?
  22. Good call! We may have chosen them specially for the reason above haha. It's nice to see the reservations coming in after months of research and extra hours to push these upto production stage.
  23. They were, we are doing the carriages in the post 1930 and pre 1960 condition. With Easybuild producing kits for the Metcam Pullman Mk1's and our manufacturing process allowing for variations we have decided to produce the extra 4 converted brake vehicles which is why we have duplicates in the listing as we are doing some numbers as built and as converted. Hope this helps? Chris
  24. They are free to pre-order. We don't charge at all for pre-orders but like to give the option for people to have their name put down on their preferred vehicles. Hope this helps?
  25. Apologies I hadn't realised I had missed a link. Please have a look at the attached link for one of the many listings https://www.ellisclarktrains.co.uk/products/darstaed-d25-05u-finescale-o-gauge-all-steel-type-k-pullman-brake-3rd-coach-unnumbered-pre-order Hope this helps? Chris W
