Has just spent the day with year 1 (5&6 Year olds) and is totally exhausted! Thank god I've got Year 5 in September, at least they can work independently for more than 30 seconds!

Right Foundation is what most Reception classes are called now, Early Years Foundation Stage is where the name came from.
Key Stage 2 (KS2) are children in Primary who are in Years 3-6, so 7-11 year olds. KS1 (Key Stage 1) refers to children in Years 1 & 2 (ages 5-7)
Key Stage 3 (KS3) refers to children in Secondary School years 7-9 (or 11-14), Key Stage 4 is 14-16 (GCSE children) and Key Stage 5 are A-Level (Years 12-13) and if you are still confused I will explain on Monday...
