    6 to 8 weeks is alright by me. Our next sorte on Dawlish will probably be early July as it will be nice to work up a thirst from Dawlish Warren to Dawlish on foot.

    I think that it is safe to say that Liverpool will win the league, Utd will hopefully miss out on the Europa and by the look of things Palace should stay up. It's a funny old game Oh and Arsenal for the FA Cup (sadly)

    We went to Dawlish Warren today and had a great day. Lunch at the Porthouse watching all the trains go by and it was quite busy, cold in that wind though as others have mentioned. We even jumped on a two car pacer rammed to the gunnels (the guard even apoligised for the overcrowding) to take a look at the marvellous job that Network Rail are doing. The sun was strong though as I think I have acute sunburn a great day bar the sunburn. I did take some photos and I'll try to post them later.

    Hi Ian that looks to be a very good start. Is that going to be the total height of the backscene or have you got plans for a higher one ? The higher the better in my book. My adventures in railway modelling in any scale seems to be coming to an end but I will still enjoy viewing the better calibre of modelling of which, this should be. Cheers, Matt.
