If the parcel can be split you may find it works out cheaper to send two parcels that are under 2kg. Prices seem to shoot up above the 2kg mark.

I'm sure that Slaters MEK PAK was benzene in the mid 60s when I first inhaled it! -
I don't know when Ks kits stopped being produced but in the early 70s they were one of the few options (at a reasonable price) if you wanted something different. They also had the "advantage" that you got the whole thing for your money - lots of kits needed extra money spent on motors, wheels etc. Standards have improved a lot since then but not many people would chuck out a loco they have been happily using for years.
