Very nice indeed mate, Dutch suited the 31's really well.
Hi Andy, l got Jintyman to respray a green 31 to dutch many moons ago, but in a moment of madness l sprayed it BR Blue a year later for some reason and always regretted it, so when l saw this yesterday l just fell in love all over again, Hahahaha...it will be a Bescot loco soon...

Yes resistance is futile. Somewhere along the line I have managed to get up to 4 class 31's in various liveries.
It is a good model though

Futile indeed Paul, l used to love watching them at Bescot yard on a friday afternoon when they were getting ballast trains ready for the weekend work, they were nearly all dutch 31s, sadly this loco has NOT got the high intensity headlight on...

Like the shelves George the metal work looks very sturdy where did you purchase it from ……must be a fair amount of weight being supported there but knowing your work-ship it will be up to scratch
Hi Martin, The metalwork is from B&Q, but its not the normal double slot stuff, this has only one slot l have never seen this style before, but its great and a lot cheaper, so l have put four uprights each with four 65mm screws with plugs in, so they should stand up to the great weight of the O gauge locos

Still room for at least another 4 locos, 5 if you squash the buses up
Jim
Hi Jim my collection of 1/50 scale buses is growing by the day, so l will have to build more shelves to accommodate them..

I Spie With My Little Eye............. 2x Dutch 33's!! One of which may be 33025 Sultan?
Well spotted Al, the un-numbered one is mine, which will be un-named 33030, and 33025 'Sultan' is my friend lan's who has commissioned me to apply all the transfers, and will be weathered later...

I see the sign at the top is in the right place to remind you not to catch your shoulder on the shelves as you walk in the room.
Well spotted Andy..,

Yes I know mate, My Timber was almost two hundred sods, luckily Ricky gets a Trade Discount, but that's only 5% now.
Where are you posting pics of the Shelves, Moss Lane or your Workbench?
l have fitted the metal work at last to the wall, and will get the shelves 4'x6"x12mm plywood hopefully today, l needed four supports for the weight of O gauge, (as you remember)...
