    Noooo! I just got Whitborough out for a bit of shunting fun and the backscene has developed bubbles and creases in it!

      The thing is, it's been on there and fine for about six months, and it was ok a week or so ago, all of a sudden it's got mumps!

    Has been watching Vulcan Howl type videos on Youtube... it's up there with the Merlin growl and Deltic drone... oh happy memories and now a big smile!

      I once slept through a Vulcan display at Finningley air show, without ear plugs! I was in a pushchair at the time though, so not very old!

      A touch of glue should solve it, it won't be sprung any more, but that's not really a problem. I'm not planning on selling it ever, so it's collectors value isn't an issue, once I have a suitable layout, it'll be a working engine!

    the wedding at the weekend was a lot more enjoyable than first expected. The only down point was actually the uncomfortable hotel bed, so I got next to no sleep!
