Gresley's grimy goods tank enters Boleyn Road. J50 68791 was a Hornsey loco for most of its BR life so, in my mind, it is visiting Boleyn Road as it’s been drafted in to work in Goodmayes Yard.

Thank you! It’s a RTR Oxford J27 essentially straight from the box - I know it’s not perfect and can be improved a bit more by some with more skill and knowledge of the prototype. It weathers up very nicely though!

A tired and weary J27, No. 65837, trundles over the track - amazing to think that some of these locos lasted in service until 1967! Another weathering jobs from last year, mainly using Lifecolor acrylics and AK-Interactive washes!

Some excited school boys revel in the appearance of Sulzer Type 2 D5135 (later Class 24) at Boleyn Road. Unusual in this part of London, they race to tick it off their Ian Allan spotting books
