  1. Ahh fine. I thought that maybe the caption was wrong. 33030 with ploughs sounds nicest? Lukasz
  2. You've probably somehow worked out that the blue 33 behind 030 is 33116 but the caption for that photo says 33051? 33030 seems a nicer bet. Lukasz

    Waton

That last shot looks like the kind of track in big cities. Sprawling and very good. Lukasz
  4. Didcot sounds like a nice idea. Always been fond of that particular area. Lukasz
  5. The layouts looking really nice. The track on the workbench and here really show a difference and are all the better for the work you've done. Will you be building another layout to fill the place of Paxton Road as something to show off the stock or will you stick with the two you have on the go at the moment? On that building is that the final colour or will it get a coat of something. Depending on age the paint on the top would stain and get mossy as well as peeling and fading? Also you should check out my blog tomorrow night to see the progress I've made on my mainline 37. It's come on rather quickly. As I mentioned before we'll have to compare them sometime. The layout looks really good in the overview pictures and makes the track plan look nice and fluid. I'm surprised by how much track there is as photos before haven't ever given away the amount of track and neither does the open feel of the layout. It's a shame about the crane because it would be a nice stand a lone feature on the layout.regards,Lukasz

    Dem Bones

That looks lovely already. Can't wait to see more. Lukasz

    MoD Vans

Those vans look really lovely Stroudie. The colour on the ends is especially good looking and matches well to the prototype. I like the patch painting aswell. Lukasz
  9. I'm not sure if you finished on the old thread but has the ews 37 been finished? And yes that helps alot. Lukasz
  10. What was the donor model for the project? Are you going to use cast bogies for the loco as you did for the dutch 37? It looks like a really lovely piece of work. Lukasz
  11. This looks like a real nice open layout. More pictures and a plan maybe? Lukasz
  12. Good. I need a few parts from them. Lukasz
  13. What is the donor model for 37675? It seems you have acquired some nice goodies to keep you going. Do Shawplan have their full range on display at exhibitions? Lukasz
  14. Heres a small effort from myself... 'Having delivered stores and landrovers to the nearby MOD rifle range 37057 idles on Lime Kiln Lane waiting to go back to Thornaby.' Lukasz
  15. Heres one from me. 37425 at the Mid Norfolk Railway last year on 20th March. Ignore the date mark. Lukasz
  16. The bufferbeam detailing on the class 37 is looking real good. Out of interest will you be modelling any bogie gear? Lukasz
  17. Good to here that James. They do look very good. I have a Hornby 09 in the mail on its way to me so will let you know how it compares probably in my blog. Lukasz
  18. They look good. One word I would use would be uniformity. They are all very different liveries but they all look as if they belong together. No stupid differences between them. They look like they work together in the same place which is good. Lukasz
  19. I think mycomment was meant for the paxton road blog but never mind its still apllicable here. I've been working on 37057 today. Shes looking good. Lukasz
  20. What chain have you been using for the handbrake?
  21. The Green 37411 is looking fantastic. Really lovely. The detailing is subtlew but noticeable and well worth it. It looks great. Lukasz
  22. I used USB cable in the end. No need for repainting or drilling hole just used a screwdriver to make a bit of a hole to hold the superglue then fitted the black USB wire into that. I fettled the socket around a bit aswell. It needed a lick of paint and a bit of excess cut off but as you've already proved it was worth it.
  23. I'm gonna do 37411 as the 'Scottish Railway Preservation Society'. Will be nice to have another ews tractor. I've already ordered one so should be carrying out the same mods. Lukasz
  24. Judging from the mechanics garage the stepfather owns with a few more bins for metal rubbish and maybe a bit more general clutter than scene is perfect. It's amazing how much of a picture I can get from just the couple o drawings you've treated us to. Lukasz
