I'm delighted Richard,
Not only are my presentations useful for those who can't sleep, but I'm told they're equally marvellous at removing guests who've overstayed their welcome. Put me on, and all you see are their @rses disappearing in a cloud of dust, at speed!
Regards,
Tony.
Hi Tony,
Maybe next time my mum is visiting, I'll try it!

I watched the full set last week when my little boy wouldn't sleep, he fell asleep very quickly once I put these on, but he loves falling asleep listening to videos of railways.
Quite sweet really.

How do you know if there isnt any insulation in the cavity already?
I'd be tempted to find an area which has a brick or part block, stitch drill out the mortar, this will enable you to remove the block /brick and see what's there or isn't there before you decide on any internal insulation.

Does anyone have any of these knocking around?

If it is not in this event, it's not a sport.
Classic Sunday viewing.

Has there been any development from the new owner of this range?
Another request for information.

Personally, I'm glad they will be available at some point in the future, how they want paying is of little concern to me.

I am glad about this, I have looked and looked at their range and just as I think about buying one, they give up.

I would have thought, that a 60's construction would have been clad with asbestos cement boards, I could be wrong however.

Evening Tony,
Here's my only Jamieson kit build to date:
No idea whether this was a standard or special kit. I do seem to recall the coupling rods being lengths of rail with holes drilled in them. I added bosses either side to improve the looks.
This was 20 years ago. Not too shabby?
Meanwhile, I have a few in stock, thanks to our recent work. One of the earlier ones with a picture stuck on the box. So what would you expect to find inside a box with a (lovely) picture of an A3-hauled ECML express on the cover?
Why - a LMS 4F goods loco, of course 😆
One day, I might have a crack at it, just for the hell of it ...
Finally (for now), did someone say that Jamieson didn't do BR standards? Was this a 'special', therefore? (body only)
Available to anyone interested at a very reasonable price!
My next purchase is a fairburn tank from Tony, otherwise I would have been interested in the standard 4 kit.
Oh well.

Very probably, it's been running since December 1979 - had a Pittman motor and K's wheels then.
Bloody hell, it's only seven months younger than me, although I am starting to look as weathered.

See if you can get hold of an extremely sharp samurai sword, and slide it under the track, or practice your assassin skills by sliding a cheese wire under the track and slice it off. 🤪

I have a Jamieson 5P5F ( Black 5), not 100% checked yet, I know it has not got instructions and a valve gear etch. but I have both and they are now with the kit. All the main parts are there, the odd 8ba nut may be missing, it will go on eBay next weekend if the 80% offer is on
I shall check it out.

Litton Mill by any chance?
I've had a look on ebay at the article, and it might be that, thank you.

One layout i remember as very good, was set in the peak district and had the obligatory limestone quarry features, the article explained how the rock faces were made from layers of Cork sheet and had a lima class 50 in one picture.
Can I remember the name? Of course not.
Another layout i liked, was Prinston in the June 1992 publication

I have some spare cab fronts.
I'll have a dig around later on.

I was looking for it in the Web page, not the browser. 🤐
As I accelerate through my 40's, I seem to be losing certain amounts of common sense. 🤪

Never mind, I found it.
Thank you.

At great risk of seeming stupid, could you show me via a screen shot I cannot find the three dots

I have managed to change my viewing settings to desktop whilst using my smartphone and I cannot change it back to the mobile view setting, can someone explain to me how to do this please?

I don't suppose anyone has a couple of the chassis frames going spare?
I have two bodies and some spare Hornby bogies to use for them, but the chassis are hard to get.
