  1. Is beginning to regret the current project. Scratch building the detail on a 4mm class 47 bogie. There really are lots of fiddly bits ... including the bits around the primary springs that are just too damm fiddly to see how I could make. Maybe I'm tired. Maybe a break is needed. Even the three springs I've made are not consistent. Over a month of not getting anywhere.

      Jon - think about how much time this is all taking, and compare it with how much time you have to achieve your modelling goals - if they don't match up, then something needs to give! ;-)

      Cheers all. 7mm is out for a number of reasons, so I'll not even start that route... but thanks anyway. The time element is a good point Tim... it's something I have too little "spare" to do all of this. But I need to think what I'm trying to achieve. The trouble is, when I see something that I think needs to be improved, I will try to improve it; seeing a need for improvement and being unable to is frustrating
