Care to share just how you did it?

I've an old Bachmann 43xx and Manor that will at some point require conversion, so it'd be great to find out how you did it.

Following advice from (among others) members 43179 and Jim SW of this forum, I fitted DC Kits bogies to my Hornby (ex Lima) 101. The principles (if not details also) will be the same. Hornby bogies from their 110 are slightly better still.

Did you go for the standard DC Kits DMU bogies? As they still seem to be the cheaper and more practical option with regard to re-bogeying my 117.

By the way, those new bogies look fantastic on the 101. Also which wheels did you then use with the bogies?
