  1. First we have a shortage of evergreen strip, and glue. Now I feel that there will a shortage of copperclad sleepers and track. Excellent modelling as usual Ron, keep up the fantastic work.
  2. Only caught up with this, really clever how you have incorporated a smaller layout into a new larger layout, will be watching with interest. Also good idea with the cardboard knock ups.
  3. Stand corrected, about the 2 Bob bit, remember seeing the last days of the whizzo's. I lived 5 miles east of Laira. 1009 Invader was there for ages, then one day, it vanished. Loved them. I only remember the coinage as I moved back to the UK in 1974 from Malta, i'm now in my 50's. Still, some nice pics.
  4. The 50p bit for the whizzo, was raffled off i believe. Some nice photos here.
  5. Hi Ron, been following this from the start, and maybe like the rest on here, wow comes to mind, superb modelling, if only we all had the space like yourself!! Keep up the fantastic work. phixer (pronounced as fixer) aka Jeff.

  12. Would love to come to Ayr, but seen as I live in darkest Hampshire, i don't think I'm gonna make it. Keep up the great modelling.
  13. Hiya Grid, loving the scenics, can i ask you how you made/construction the rocks faces?
  14. Looking forward, on how this goes, I currently live across the water in Gosport, and use Pompey Harbour station quite a bit.

  17. Wet and windy, just how I remember it, now where's that tractor!
  18. Hiya, I lived in Dundee for three years, catching the train everyday to Perth. The line splits just before the bridge, and the east end does indeed go into a tunnel exiting in Dundee itself, and then it goes on to Carnoustie, Arbroath, Montrose and all staions to Aberdeen. Take a look at Google Maps http://maps.google.c...F-8&sa=N&tab=wl There used to be a yard there, and a long time ago a shed. A resident 06 shunter, this is now gone, and replaced by some brand new buildings. The still store the odd unit in there, and and freight. Would make an ideal layout, if you had the space.
  19. Leaving in Coffins, by PSAPP, from the album Tiger, My friend.
  20. Stunning, coming very well, do like the station building. Any chance of some more pics?
