Please refer to last picture with door back leaning against the wall If I hung that door and unloaded the crate what on earth would you all chat about??

Glued and ballasted in place. I have found it will take quite a few weeks to fully dry giving me the finished colour which I can then match with surrounding areas And all back in place. Now I can park a couple of Panniers, or a tender loco and still leave space….and the pipe from the water tank reaches this siding as well????

Extend the siding so a piece of track was found So the old piece removed and excavation works commenced, track cut to size and…. and glueing in place Note. Engine shed, figures, telegraph poles removed as I was leaning over the layout to work on it…..help saves unnecessary damage!

The Squadron Leader has been tasked by me to take aerial pictures of the layout so I can start updating the plan. Well one of them was the area to the side of the engine shed and I looked at it and thought why on earth did I do the siding that angle and length???? No idea…… So a plan was hatched……..

Now, after yesterdays Pannier excitement lets quieten things down with a tranquil view of some buildings. Mavis still chatting to Aunt Edna, me still leaning on a fence in deep conversation with an engine driver and Stan Dare eyeing up his next painting. This view captures the different levels I was after and through a gap in the trees you can see a flat bed wagon in the head shunt at track level.....

Thanks. Its difficult to set up, out of reach of my tripod so I have to hold the camera in one hand, balance it on the back scene to stop the shakes whilst in my other hand operate the it with the remote facility on the iPhone. What is does, with the new corner board with Rose Cottage on gave me nearly 9ft of scenery hence the feeling of depth. I suppose if I removed the shop and offices I could stand the camera on my mini tripod.....that would open up a lot of different angles. Hmmmm?

The only reason they are all there as they have been waiting for the auto train to clear the line…. LM operates in a multiverse??? Its a Marvel.! And the vicar, well once he puts his socks on he can wear his saddles…

And now from one of the bedroom windows of the cottages... A view not often seen as I am balancing over the layout, with the camera pressed against the backscene for stability... One false move....

You lucky people... By a pure fluke of the timetable we have ended up with all the Panniers in the yard at LM at the same time! What luck and coincidence? We have 7768 - on shed 2776 - at coal staithes 7750 - water siding 8752 - siding and about to set off 8701 - auto train

With the crew ordered and awaiting dispatch 2776 has moved to the coal staithe. She will sit there until here crew arrives and finished with the wardrobe department where they will be added to the cab. A loco at rest And probably my favourite angle Fore an old stager she has scrubbed up well and makes a nice addition to the LM motive fleet.

I think there is an article in the GW Modelling website on this very subject and there is some work involved to get the two to fit together.

Sitting, minding her own business, 2776 open cab Pannier sits in the afternoon sun. Waiting for her crew to turn up……unfortunately the wait will be a while as I have run out of crew so have some on order…. So, at the moment just waiting

Just a quiet day down here in the valley. Time for a quick chat, well I say quick but Aunt Edna and Mavis seem to have been there a while!!!

Thanks all for your comments on the Pannier brake rods but in the end I knocked some up from rigid wire, plastic sleeve from electrical wire and plastic strip. Here is the end result with 2776 residing alongside the LM platform whilst the first coat of varnish drys If anyone is interested I can post some pictures of the process?

Meanwhile back over on the main line some of our train spotter friends have sent in some pictures of the passing WKT. One was even hanging off the branch of a tree!!!

She was a bit sad for herself, but now looking a lot happier. Like a lot of my builds I have to get in ‘the mood’ so stuff gets parked until the interest gets triggered as happened with 2776. Now all systems go to completion….

Talking of the harbour!!! One can notice the open cab Pannier 2776 is currently taking some sea air whilst the paint dries. And before anyone comments the roof is only placed loosely as I expect if I fix it I will only break the whistles off when handing!!!! Will be last job.. Need to work out how to fix the external low slung brake rods when I decide what to build them from….. For the record another static model
