Sasquatch

Woodingdean- largest suburb of Brighton, has the worlds deepest hand dug well at 1250 feet and a saxon camp that was one of the first settlements in Sussex that is now just a hole in the hill side! 

Edit; Also where sasquatch grew up!

Eagle Point OR- It's a dank day here, home to the only working watermill west of the Missisippi.

Also there's not much woodwork going on!

Thurso- most northerly terminus in Great Britain

Minehead- Terminus for the WSR

Ashford- been a big railway town twice in its existance!

Taplow - Bucks very old anglo saxon village outside Slough!

Newhaven- has 2 stations only 600 yards apart on the same line.

Gent/Gand/Ghent -  Het stad met zijn drie torens. /City of three towers.

Uckfield- would make a great little terminus layout if it wasn't prone to flooding!

Weed - California famous for its name!

Renfrew - only because I want 2 goes!

Yellowknife- and you thought you were having a cold winter!

Reedsport another Oregon coastal town!

Yachats Or - also on the way to Newport. Pronounced  yah-harts

Umpqua River (OR) - known for it's lighthouse on the river, and for it's ice cream.

 

Actually I cheated a bit here. The nearest town is Reedsport. Let's keep playing "U"

I was going to say that there is an Umpqua but its quite a ways from the light house!

We're going down that way in May on our way to Newport for a long weekend. Its stunning!

Astoria Oregon- where they filmed Goonies!
