Not seen this website before https://www.kingsbridge-branch.co.uk/history/south-brent/
I wish you hadn't reminded again of that site - some really depressing photos of Brent

Normal second half performance fall off by England - a bit ponderous and slow - but I suppose for once it doesn't matter although it will when England play someone decent.

I like this referee he appears to be using his eyesight

Not looking too good for Germany at the moment!!
Turned out alright in the end though........unfortunately......
-
Blimey Ahmed Musa scores an excellent goal for Nigeria - a pity he never showed anything remotely like that playing for Leicester City before he was sent back to CSKA Moscow on loan. Perhaps he'll get a second chance at Leicester......
Edit: He scores again and hits the bar....is it the same player?

Cabellero is an accomplished graduate of the Karius School of Dodgy Keepers.

Shame you can't see the livery on the tender.
No good in this one either?

Is there a photo of 6018 King Henry VI anywhere on the Kings Cross - Leeds service.
Mr Brooksbank to the rescue again - King Henry VI on a 'rehearsal' run as no dyno car

Given how nice the new Hornby model is, renumbering to get City of Bradford is also rather tempting (though they could have used one with a better name!)
46236 City of Bradford during the Locomotive Exchange Trials 1948 at Vauxhall looking very odd paired with an ugly high capacity tender (due to no water troughs on the SR) and towing the dyno car and an SR van(?) at the head of the ACE.

And register for the site, seemingly
i didn't register am I just lucky?
Edit : just gone back onto the site via search bar using "Shed Bash UK" and navigated to the Penzance shed bash listings with no sign of a registration requirement

Very interesting site, although I could only get the Newton Abbot page to work (Laira / Kingsbridge both refused to open)
You have to go to the Index of Shed Visits on right hand side of the page first, select that to get the drop list of shed visits, navigate to Devon or wherever and note the date that a shed was added to the archive, say Laira on 30 Jun 2017 and then select the month and year from blog archive on the right hand side to access the detailed listings e.g. Laira

I came across this site whilst looking for something else which might of interest as a variation to the standard shed allocation listing sites as quite a few of the shed listings are for Sunday and show "visiting" engines as well as the home allocations:
Newton Abbot as an example:
http://shedbashuk.blogspot.com/2016/10/
The site seems easy to navigate and is good for other railways/regions too.
Apologies if this site has already featured on ANTB but the thread is quite long now

Agreed.
Alli, Maguire & Lingard were invisible.
I think your anti-England vitriol must be affecting your vision
.I don't see how Maguire could have been "invisible" when he attempted the most passes on the night of any England player and had a vital assist at the death.

Nice to see our local hero providing the assist for Kane's winning goal
-
Soft.
That's penalty but Harry Kane being bodily wrestled to the ground somehow isn't. Still getting p*ss poor decision making in spite of all the technology because some of the officials are still blind even with reviews.

Meanwhile, as the Swiss prepare for a bit of precision bus-parking...
Well they managed to get the bus to make one successful excursion to the other end of the pitch and had 45% of possession. However most of the Brazil shots missed the bus when it was parked - dismal 5 shots on target out of 21 attempts.

I do like a bit of schadenfreude. The Germans didn't show Mexico enough respect and got what they deserved for once.

I don't think any of the home nations should be saddled with the dreary dirge that is the current UK national anthem. Two have ditched it. As a mere Scot, can I commend to England "There'll Always be an England"?
There'll always be an England
And England shall be free
If England means as much to you
As England means to me
There. Perfect. I'd almost be jealous of it.
DT
That'll do nicely as would any of Jerusalem, Land of Hope and Glory, Rose of England, I Vow to thee my Country,......anything that references either the country or the people more than the current dull funereal elitist droning dirge would be preferable.

He's also just agreed to pay £16m to avoid jail for tax evasion in Spain, with a 2 year suspended sentence.
He's left Messi trailing in his wake off the field as Messi only managed to evade about £9M.......

What's that Fokker doing?
Waiting for Stan Boardman to tell his Fokker joke?

The total uselessness of the Saudi team yesterday suggests to me that we really don't need 48 team World Cups in the future.

You'll see why I'm posting this old Andy York photo tomorrow. No, I'm not changing my name to TOOMANYHALLS either.
R.I.P 4948 - long live "Another Hall" ?

It looks like its going to cost me a small fortune to fill my Panini 2018 World Cup sticker book:

You might be right it seems as if Lewandowski has a highly contagious disease and his Polish team mates don't want to go anywhere near him. The poor man can't do it all on his own with zero support.
