  1. Would have enjoyed the vidio's and the pics, you must be so angry about that. Take heart and your work is appreciated and pored over here in West London.
  2. It looks as though they are really cracking on after there day off. I really appreciate the time you are putting in on our account David, great work.
  3. Having just read the article in "Rail", the full extent of the damage has become apparent. It explains some of David's pictures where the old timberwork was dug up. As they are going back to redesigning and then recreating the sea wall and track bed, it will be some time before trains are running again for sure. I am very surprised the "Rail Engineer" have made no mention of this ongoing job, I expect they are awaiting a conclusion. May be a long wait!!
  4. Lobster Pot, I bet that doesn't come cheap, nice pictures David. Now there are no Boat trains or Town yard I suppose they feel a single line is the quickest and cheapest way to go. The train wreck in Germany was on single track, not the best solution in my opinion.
  5. David thanks for recording all this ongoing engineering work. Its a historical record of the event. Stuart.
  6. Hi guys, Has anyone chipped the Hornby 700? If so what chip did you use and how did you remove that pesky plug from the tender? All help gratefully received. Stuart.
  7. Reading this thread has at least got rid of the "what am I doing wrong" thoughts I am not alone in this. I am going to have another go this afternoon. Although am very surprised to read of so many other owners with the same problem . Stuart
