Stuart-AU
Hi.. Bit late but here is my entry. GWR - Greenbay 7mm A small branchline station at the end of the line. The small village of Greenbay is about 1.5 miles south of the station but have a large fishing fleet which the railway service. Traffic is mainly fish and fishing supplies. Too the north there are some larger frams that sent there cattle and sheep to market via rail. There is also the usally inward goods, fuel, petrol, general hardware, vegtables and coal. The layout will be 8'x2' made up of 2 4' boards, these will be made using Barry Norman's system using 3mm ply. There will be a small 2 track fiddle yard. This yard will be made so it can be disconected from the layout as anything too large will tip the size over the 2010 size. Track will be code 125 bullhead rail from Exactoscale aswell as the chaurs and sleepers. Point will unit servos for movemet aswell as signals (Later I will add a level frame. Al buildings will be scratch built form plan of GWR building from diffrent stations. This is the basic plan (draw using templot) Well best get started as time is ticking away.. RMweb Premium eldavo Posted March 23, 2010 RMweb Premium Share Posted March 23, 2010 ... The layout will be 8'x2' made up of 2 4' boards ... Sounds interesting but my maths says 8' by 2' is 2304 square inches! Cheers Dave
