RMweb Premium Popular Post Ian Morgan Posted April 29, 2018 RMweb Premium Popular Post Share Posted April 29, 2018 (edited) Dr Emmett Brown's first trainspotting trip, last December, took him back to 1950, to see the railway at Freshwater, Isle of Wight: This weekend, he has had a major trainspotting journey, starting by going back to the 1920's to watch the Great Western in action at Modbury. Then he traveled forward to the 1950's to check out the brewery at Wickwar. Then he went forward a bit more to the late 1960's and visited City Basin Goods. I wonder where he will visit next? TT3
Well hopefully not the S&D or somewhere Dr Beeching has had his eye on, after all might make it tricky getting back to 1985 if the track has been lifted.

RMweb Premium Ian Morgan Posted October 6, 2018 Author RMweb Premium Share Posted October 6, 2018 The good doctor was off trainspotting again, this time in the US, which seemed more fitting surroundings. (or it could have been on Solent Sub-Division seen at Fareham)
RMweb Premium Ian Morgan Posted October 15, 2018 Author RMweb Premium Share Posted October 15, 2018 The Flux Capacitor seems to have developed a bit of a fault. Dr Emmett has not only traveled through time, but to a different dimension, ending up in the Discworld-like city of Angst-Lesspork. The inter-dimensional travel has also ended up shrinking the Delorean to half size, so it is fortuitous that the Angst-Lesspork railway system is narrow gauge. Let's hope the good Doctor can find a way back to our dimension, possibly with a little magic.

RJS1977
Maybe someone should run a competition to build film-based model railways.... ;-) What I've often thought would be fun would be a "Great Model Railway Journeys" featuring a brightly painted plastic figure carrying a brown book....

No it wouldn't. The track is mostly still there on the S&D. Still has a daily service too... 1

E3109
Do you reckon he can take me back to April 1981, and instead of making dens like 12 year old kids do, buy me a ticket for the Easter Tommy rail tour instead? Something based on The Cassandra Crossing would be an interesting challenge. The train would have to change randomly between diesel and overhead-powered electric, and the the number of carriages in the train would have to magically change too.
