Recently fitted an EM2 (after much cursing) to my Class 37 on my friend's layout and gave it a whirl to see how my new class 37 file sounded on an em2. The bass on it is unbelievable.

Also took the opportunity to give my little 45xx a spin with my sound file on it for demo purposes.

Have recently bought the 31, 33 and 50 and they're all fantastic.

However, a slight annoyance for me in regards to operation is that I can't seem to turn the sound off by hitting F1 whilst the loco is moving.

On an exhibition layout we want to be able to turn the sound on and off on the move as the train exits or enters the fiddle yard. I'm no CV wizard so could you advise if this can be tweaked with CV changes please?

In the meantime here's the 33 in action.

How please?

Dave.

First contact the supplier of the decoder for them to do it for you.

I'm assuming its an ESU decoder?

If no joy come back to me via a PM.

Wiggy.
