Hatton's 18 pin Decoder Announcement

Hi all,

With more 18 pin locomotives coming onto the UK modelling scene (and many available in continental ranges) we've decided to make our Hatton's decoders available in 18 pin format to compliment the 8 and 21 pin decoders already in our range. The specs are below;

• 4 function, 1.1a continuous (1.5a peak)
• 32 light features
• Unique 4-way Fluorescent-lighting control with 1-step setup
• LED light level control (dimming)
• All functions re-settable and re-mappable
• Advanced consisting supported
• Decoder Lock supported
• Auto-adjusting back EMF.
• Size = 15mm x 9.5mm x 2.8mm
• High reliability as with all our decoder range.
• Superb slow speed running on both DCC and DC
• Super-smooth running on DC (DC locos will actually be smoother at slow speed with this decoder in place than without it)
• Adds flicker-free lighting to DC locomotives

Nice  one I  have  used  a  few  of these  Next 18 decoders  with  great  success  very  easy  and simple  to fit

 

also  nice  to  se  your  recognition  of the  use of  decoders  in  analogue  controlled  locomotives to  iimprove  performance  I know  of  a  couple  of   Hornby Dublo  users  who actually fir decoders  for  that  vvery  reason!
