RMweb Gold JohnR Posted August 8, 2017 RMweb Gold Share Posted August 8, 2017 Lovely issue. I note that there are at least 3 layouts that are inspired (either directly or indirectly) by the Culm Valley line? Is this a record?

Pint of Adnams
Lovely issue. I note that there are at least 3 layouts that are inspired (either directly or indirectly) by the Culm Valley line? Is this a record? Probably by the three station layouts that Iain Rice included on p43 of An Approach to Model Railway Layout Design - Finescale in Small Spaces, Wild Swan. It's a popular prototype and the very first issue of BRJ had an article by Paul Karau on modelling the buildings, first used on the Highworth Branch and re-used on the Culm Valley Light and Southwold Railways.
