Absolutely guaranteed there'll be widespread splitting if previous set releases are anything to go by.

Sensible price is a different question though.....

So January has come and gone....and these haven't hit the shops yet!!

 

Like others, I'm interested in the split set....if retailers go that way.

Still some 47s to come too (209/550)...I believe those were due in the middle of January.

My mistake Andy......I thought they were due for imminent release.

Now I realise that they may be another 6 weeks away if they have only just left China.

That's fine...the purchases can wait a while longer.

Any idea when the malachite Bulleid's are coming? There doesn't appear to be a due in the next 60 days section on the new Bachmann website. I noticed them in the background of a cabinet in one of sdjr88's videos.

The posts were intended to help people but as more time was spent dealing with those who wanted to know why x,y or z hadn't arrived on shelves yet and grumbling I decided not to spend time on it.

I'm not sure we've had the notifications from Bachmann in recent months. I did have a notice from Hattons that the revamped Farish GWR railcar is expected July/August. (CJL)

That's a shame, I always found them helpful regardless if what I wanted was due or not. The Bulleid's are the only thing that I feel the need to buy all at once as they make a complete set

I also found the posts useful in terms of budgeting as they had more “concrete” timing information than the Bachmann website. I can appreciate how busy you are but would you be prepared to reconsider your decision and post the information again please? Perhaps it could be a locked topic or you could add a statement (in large bold letters, perhaps) along the lines of, “Provided for information purposes only. Do not use this topic to complain about anything!”

That sounds pretty reasonable to me too, and would provide the required information without the questioning. I'm looking out for delivery info on the SR birdcage coaches, and it's far more likely that I'd look for it here than elsewhere.
