RMweb Gold Accurascale Fran Posted May 2, 2018 RMweb Gold Share Posted May 2, 2018 Hi everyone, As production for our first run of HOP 24 / HUO wagons nears completion (we've very excited!) we have now put our wagon buffer accessory packs on pre-order sale. This will be available to ship in a couple of weeks time when the pre TOPs HOP 24 arrives with us. As we are doing three buffer variants (Spindle, Self Contained and Oleo) for our wagons, we can offer them all for sale as an accessory pack of 8 for £2.95 per pack, plus P&P. They are fully assembled and sprung. You can place your order now at https://accurascale.co.uk/product-category/accessories/buffers/ Cheers, Fran

We hope they will be a useful item for kit builders and modellers who like to upgrade their existing stock. If these go well we will bring out further detail accessories going forward!
cheesysmith
I have just received some of these buffers from you, and can you answer some questions. Are these buffers the 1'6" versions as fitted to unfitted wagons? Will you be making Oleos with the 1'8" and 16" buffer? And used on fitted wagons and the larger head used on air braked stock? Hi Cheesysmith. That is correct, they are the 1'6“ versions as fitted to unfitted wagons. As for your second query, it might be something we looking at in the future. Cheers! cheesysmith
What buffers will the forthcomming cement wagons be comming with? These will be very useful as extras for many different wagons, if they are the fitted Oleos versions.

It is something we may consider offering depending on how successful the current buffer accessory packs sell first.
RMweb Gold Accurascale Fran Posted July 26, 2018 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted July 26, 2018 Hi everyone, We have put this up on Facebook, but no harm asking here too.... We’re delighted about how popular our buffer packs have proven to be so far among modellers. So much so that we are considering expanding the range. What detail parts would you like to see? Let us know below! Cheers, Fran
