RMweb Gold McRuss Posted June 1, 2018 RMweb Gold Share Posted June 1, 2018 Hello, that is a good question. Or is Graham Farish/Bachmann intending to offer additional coach sets, as they did in 00? Markus
RMweb Premium John M Upton Posted June 1, 2018 RMweb Premium Share Posted June 1, 2018 (edited) I would not be surprised to see separate extra coaches released although that would be a 2019 announcement if they did which going by the continually getting further and further away expected date of the Sealink Mk1s could be two or three years away by which time the matching sets will be long since sold out. My best recommendation would be ind someone who is splitting the set, buy the coaches and rename them (transfers available from some of the usual suspects I believe). RMweb Gold The Pilotman Posted June 1, 2018 RMweb Gold Share Posted June 1, 2018 Large logo 37s are quite hard to get hold of individually so I would not be surprised if a few people buy the Highlander set to keep the loco and sell off the coaches. Some retailers do this but it's also worth watching your friendly, local eBay.
meatloaf
Yeah ive looked on ebay and there are the locos seperated from the set but not the coaches oddly enough

RMweb Premium John M Upton Posted June 4, 2018 RMweb Premium Share Posted June 4, 2018 Is the 37 easily convertible to DC operation i.e. I can pull the chip and replace with a blanking plug?
meatloaf
Is the 37 easily convertible to DC operation i.e. I can pull the chip and replace with a blanking plug? Yes mate, but most locos with a decoder fitted will work ok on DC without needing to take the chip out
