We are opening the cabin to visitors on Saturday 17 July 2010, between 10:00 and 15:00 - if anyone is interested please send me a PM, numbers will be limited and will be on a first come first served basis.

The cabin is located near Mold, North Wales - full details will be sent

Not many takers, no worries we are there anyway, but if anyone does want to come and visit then please get in touch.

Ah. Pity about the date. I wouldn't mind coming, but the 17th is already down for my daughter's dance school show, my daughter's brownie tombola and fund-raising day and my son's scouts fund-raising and volunteering-to-help-repair-the-scout-hut day. mind you, if you're going to be there at about eleven at night...

We have a few visitors coming over, so next Saturday will be going ahead, if anyone else wants to visit - and see Widnes for real, and bring some stock if you like (OO, DCC only please) (I will sign your Hornby mag if you like  ) - then get in touch in the next couple of days please.

You could turn the visit into a book signing event instead. Celebrity status eh.? Is the Hornby mag with Vine Yard in out now.??

I still cant make that date...but I'm sure we will sort something in the not too distant future.

Yes the mags out - had a quick glance yesterday.

Hope to see you soon Bob - see if you can get Jim to come along too, probably going to do another one in a few weeks as a couple of others wanted to come but can't make next Saturday.

That would be great if I could get Jim to come along...I could pick him up and bring him along no problem.

Look forward to seeing the mag.!!

Are you doing signed photos too.......of you of course, not the layout??

Was that you on the footbridge at Shotton Dave, awaiting the 47s ?, I was working 150 2?? to Holyhead just in front of them.

We will have another one in a month or two ... there are a few who want to visit who can't make this Saturday so we will be organising another one.

Guilty ! - I was the one who waved. (I will spare you the close up!)

Thats the one, thanks Dave, coupled to another 150 at Holyhead then worked them back to Chester.

Thought it was you after seeing your posting on NWTN.

Will look out for the next open day invite

PS Thanks for the "No close ups"

Here's the train that was chasing your tail down the coast - it was cloudy until the leading loco passed the end of the platform when the sun brightened for about 30 seconds, meaning I was stuck on the shady side

If anyone is coming and doesn't know the way drop me a pm.

I will try and arrange a date with a bit more notice so those who can't make this Saturday can make it next time.

I will lock the thread off with this posting.

cheers,

A good day yesterday - the sound from Geoffs 37 must rank as one of, if not, the best sounds I've heard in a model.

I'll try and upload some videos of it later.

Hi Guys

Sounds like you had a very enjoyable day with Widnes Vine Yard...sorry I couldnt get over to join you all, as I have so enjoyed my past visits to the facility to see you all.

As Dave knows, Superbikes at Snetterton was my excuse.......but I hope to be available to visit at a future open day.

Sounds like Jan did you proud with the food again too.

All the best guys.

Bob.

Cracking Video's Dave.

Thanks for taking the time to show them.

Pete's Soundbox certainly makes a big difference in the Scheinder 37. Pete has done a step by step guide for the soundbox Pete's Soundbox .
