A quick entry as i have been working on two of the Bachmann Inspection saloons today amoungest other things, one will be detailed both ends and weathering and the other (the one on the right) is detailed at one end and will have some light weathering too.

Thought I would do a quick post whilst I am having a couple of days off, even though the phone keeps ringing
A Tyne dock 9F that I was asked to convert from a standard Bachmann 9F
I re-worded the water streak after taking the last pic as it was a little bit heavy but it was quite prominate on the proto pic that I was working from.

HI all,
Well after a very busy week with attending the SDMRC Pickering show and a few things going its nice to be back working for a rest
This lady came in for a re-spray, when she arrived the green paint work looked as thought it had been applied with a wallpaper paste brush the lines where that noticable and the transfers had silvered quite badly so a trip to the paint stripper was called for.
After a good tidy up of body work to remove as much of the lumps and bumps as possible a

Not had chance to take some pics of the work done on the etches so far as i have run out of hard disk space on the old pc so i cant convert the pics on the camera.
Still here is a pic of a Euro cargo 66 that i was asked to weather and add the detailing to one end.

This young lady came in for what i suppose you could call a re-identity from the British Steel numbered to D9517 which was based in monmouthshire in the late 60's which is where the customer asked it to be (south wales area)
Here she is with the number removed
And with the new number applied
Just awaiting on the BR Roundals to arrive in the post and then it will have a bit of corrective weathering and then it will ready for trip home.

Well as some of you may know, those that have read my posting on my personal blog, I have started this one to show what i am working on for customers.
