Next up - a D10 and a D11

The D10 is Mike Edges build of a Judith Edge kit and the D11 is a Bachmann Director with added brass splasher beading...

A pair of my favourite locos!  (I've got four of them myself- the Bachmann Butler Henderson, BEC D11 and a pair of Jaycraft D10s).  Really nice job on the weathering.

I will be buying and building one of the D10s from Judith Edge as it looks a really nice kit... The Bachmann D11 has soem problems but still looks good..

They certainly did. I would like a Jersey Lily -- but I can't see that happening for a while!

Mmmm.....I bought a Perseverance D11 kit by accident a couple of years ago, and then found I had the inside motion kit for it in another drawer. Probably one of Rod Neep's better design efforts, before complexity caused him to lose the plot!

good luck with the Perseverance kit... me, I was just lazy..

 

Morgan Gilbert, who mostly inhabits the LNER Forum, reckoned the tender artwork was still wrong, so gave me a 16-page guide on how to rectify it!
