Here is the result of Fridays work. Just the beginning of the paint job. I have started the colour today but that's another post.

It gave me a chance to look at my 0395 without doing much as I needed to get my head around where I had got too.

Looking very crisp and clean!  I'm not sure quite why, but I like pictures of locos in primer.  I've always fancied finishing a model in "Photographic Grey", but chickened out because of the work needed to do the lining!

Only troughle is you see every fault.

 

Or indeed the advantage; better to see the faults now so you can correct than rather than after you've applied the top coat. :)
