The basic painting of this has taken for longer than I thought. I have got some new cellulose primer and black which took a little getting the mix right. Was used to fairly runny paint but this is thick.

 

I think I got it right in the end. I do need to repaint the cab roof I had some problem with water. I meant to do it after the main body was rubbed down and re coated. But some forgot. So I will have to make a mess just for one item. May try and fit it in when the buffer planks are done.

 

 

Here are a few photos I was pleased the way the back head came out. Just a little detail painting to do. I will give it a day or so to cure, then I can start the lining. At least it is only one colour.
