On a more positive note, my second set of test etches have come through for the Herring ballast wagon. As stated on the previous version of RMweb, this is a 2FS kit I have been designing from scratch.

So far the basic build it going well, but I have some how left the top side panels 2mm too high! Not seeing the wood for the trees tongue.gif

I was wondering if there was going to be any progress on this as I had some etches delivered recently. That is comming together REALLY well and its definately encouraging to see. The kit looks very well thought out.

 

Hopefully I will be seeing the finished wagon soon?

Thank you all for the positive feedback. It's progressing very slowly, but it has been a very steep learning curve. I hope to build on this version and try and get the MkIII version out before the end of the year.
