A bit more progress at last!

The first few plinth/pier combinations are assembled. The M4 rodding is used to adjust the positioning whilst the assembly is glued up.

These will make up into the middle 9 arch section.

The classic view. The holes will have to be tidied up prior to being clad with English bond plasticard/SE Finecast vacuum formed plastic.

Excellent John - now where's that '60s band posing in the arches? :D

Will a Wainwright 'C' eventually be seen plodding over the viaduct? ;)

1) Watch this space ;)

2) Yes, but 'we' (i.e. Eridge) already has a C from the Wills kit - doesn't mean we can't use one of Bachmann's offerings though!

I love that second picture - this is where we have to remember things like leaving space through the piers to feed the dropper wires from the track.

The 'production run' of etches for the pier aperture and arch curved brickwork is now ordered and should be with us soon :D .

Once I've got some particularly stressful work out of the way I'll be able to get back into things myself - all those bits of 2mm MDF to laminate together and pavilions to build!

So exhibition managers are going to have to allow headroom as well! Truly impressive.. Knowing the prototype location quite well (being an ex-pat Sussex person exiled to deepest Surrey) it is really beginning to capture the 'feel'
