RMweb Gold RedgateModels 9,638 Posted March 18, 2011 RMweb Gold it's actually 2mm shorter than a Brit. Yeah, lined black and I have the nameplates already. Should be able to pop over sometime to see if it'll run on Duffield, as long as Derby arn't at home Link to comment
92220 5,911 Posted March 18, 2011 Looks great - I've enjoyed seeing this take shape. You've made an especially brilliant job of the pipework and running plate/valance, and I'm sure it will look great when painted and lined too. You were searching for some draincocks a while back - no luck? Inspiring stuff - thanks! Iain Link to comment
Jon020 1,495 Posted March 18, 2011 Your blog is and has been truly inspirational... and inspired me into something similar for my Deltic conversion... so, thank you. I look forward to the next stage... and I'll try to catch up with my Deltic and ensure I post something similar when I get to this stage too. Fantastic! Link to comment

RMweb Gold RedgateModels 9,638 Posted March 20, 2011 RMweb Gold Thanks all, it is a bit weird I must say to be accosted by stangers (ok RMwebbers!) at the Nottm show with kind comments about my work As a postscript, the DCC ready Brit chassis I have bought for the forthcoming DoG project has lubricators etc, I might fit these yet ...... Sailor Charon 78 Posted March 26, 2011 Yes, it's looking good. I have to say I thought it looked better without the smoke deflectors... but then I don't like smoke deflectors... But yes, it's very good indeed. Link to comment
