Some more of this PBV done. I have added the footboards and a couple of scrap nickel silver straps to the underframe. These are to take the hinge pins for the Slaters underframe. Holes to be drilled.

I have also made some clips for the roof to make it easily removable. I did try my normal wire ones I use on loco cab rooves but it failed misserably. I also drilled new holes for the lamps and bungs. the original ones as can be seen quite some way out, they were also in dents, the size can be seen by the filler. Since the photo the roof has had it's two hand rails fitted, now it is just the rain strips to do.

I also added two brass straps to the top of the side, this really made a big difference and tightened everything up nicely.

I have yet to add a white metal the lamps etc were just put in place for the photo. The oil lamps are actually LSWR ones, but I did not think this was to far out. Plus I had them in stock.

I am in the process of removing the springs and axle boxes from the cast W irons. I think I have just to add the vacumm pipes then all the white metal can be added. Then it is off to the paint shop.
