As mentioned in my earlier blog I now have a Bachmann 7F 53809 to add to the locos available for the shed. Of course it will now take it's place in the queue for conversion to P4 but for now here are some photos taken on shed the other night.

I wonder if Ultrascale will do a wheel conversion set.

I should have removed the Bachmann couplings - sorry.

That looks SO good. However, I'm just amazed at the 'difference' in gauge; just look at that extra width on the Templot P4 print.

Alos, I had no idea this loco was even available yet - DOH!

Makes the shed come to life, even in this stage of construction. I can smell the sulphurous wiff even now!

Looks like it just belongs there, Robin! I suspect that not a few will be interested to see how the conversion to P4 eventually goes....

Mallard, the gauge is slightly exaggerated in the pics. The current templot plan isn't quite on the correct allignment upon entering the shed and will be replaced in due course, as a result the 7f is placed off the track plan but on a more appropriate position in relation to the shed walls, hence the apparently huge difference in track gauge.

Robin has done an excellent job on the colouration of the shed walls and when they come under close scruitiney, such as in these photos, the shed really does ouse with atmosphere

Thanks for sharing the pics Rob!

Lovely lovely lovely!! Wonderful modelling this, the laser cut materials from York Model Makers look superb and have been coloured very accurately - as Kempemfelt says - oooozing atmosphere. The 7F isn't too shabby either - another of my favourites, I always fancied one of these... one day one day (add it to the list!)
