4. some would want working fans. ( quote adb968008 ) In tick over or cruising light engine the fan doesn't operate, there's not even water flowing through the rad elements at that stage.

WCRC and ORR could now be in talks about fitting WLD to all the Scottish stock (weather lockout devices) -

With LSL setting up a base at Carlisle maybe WCRC will figure their about to get a kicking off somebody else too -
Had a chat with him today, he does know his stuff and is always open to input regarding his models. He said he was pleased by all the comments he received at York and said the team ( the two of them ) are hard at work dealing with all the orders.

It's safe to say if you wait you will be rewarded. It is a thing of beauty. I have only found two small errors (and I mean small) which I will not say what they are due to the fact that I know ever inch inside and out of a 25/3. With my aged eyes (lol) it looks right which only a few other models these days match, no drawing or tape measures needed to compare, "It looks right". My only big issue is with them doing 25904 because as a /9 she was never mint. Now will they do a super 25/3 ( no small grill)

Been once, the loco I have a share in has been once. Both will never return. It's the ultimate us and them railway

Chilterns 68's are fiited with AAR and DRS ones aren't and as the mk3 look like their going to be kept for at least 18 months and DRS are short of locos now (ar@e kicking given on the use of zero houred 37 the other day) there is some fighting over locos due, but at the end of the day they are DRSs Why don't Chiltern just buy their own new stock and stop going round with cap in hand.

Got my 25324 today and what a thing of beauty. Not a technical saying but she looks right. They've even got the bogies right, both re different in real life and I didn't they would do that. Well done SLW

Correct, they are a small team and are working the orders with the added issue of contacting people to get their up to date card details. Also worth a mention is the fact they don't work Mondays. See it as a fine wine, the longer you wait the better it gets lol

As in real life they can be anywhere, I would place them in a dead area that needs filling. This means you can use your main area for scenic items, stock and in the case of most depots "junk"

Think Ian is looking for an easy life these days

Found it on a couple of ebay lists with one UK seller both listing it as a HO scale model

Can't repeat my times with NBLs as I might get banned off this forum, lets just say that NBL deserved to go bust due to the use of M.A.N. based units. The original plan was to use Gardner units after the Paxman ones in shunters but somebody had a bright idea. adb968008 did you ever see D2767s crankshaft suicide

I know one TPE driver (I think you know him too from the old days abd968008) who has just walked away from the job due to the aggro he got every day off not just the general public but also TPE control. He is cleared to drive Deltics on the mainline but not even been thought of to do training on 68s. Not just the public that have had too much but the staff are at their wits end. The time has come to split it up.

Plus a very important factor most of you have missed One Monkey driver +0% efficiency One skilled driver = 100% efficiency If you don't control your traction and run out of skill and sand, the hp means nothing
