    I use champagne corks. I could use ordinary wine corks but hey !

    Can’t see TT lasting without some small tank engines. I think that once Simon goes they may quietly cut their losses.

    I use wire in tube but at the end of the baseboard I just bend the wire upwards about a centimetre (maybe a bit more).This enables me to hold the wire and push or pull as required.You can cover the end with a bit of tape to make holding it easier.

    Just had a look at the layouts featured . There is some fantastic modelling. Jim Connor’s layout always inspires.

      It was tongue in cheek as the whole thing about incorrect usage of the message system winds many of us up. It stems from users not reading the prompt in the box they use to send the message. Next time I'll just delete the message.

    Names can be a problem. An old Forest of Dean Layout of mine was called Wyebeach . A mixture of Howbeach ,where the Blakeney branch ended, and the river Wye.

    If anyone is interested the layout is still available for purchase. Easing of visiting restrictions has made it easier for viewing.

    Due to lack of space I have reluctantly decided to sell it. An advertisement is due to appear in Railway Modeller later this year .

    Hi. Just got delivery of it this afternoon after the show.Need some time to play with it so plans at present.
