  1. The ending of the Peterborough show was a great loss as it was always a cracking show but sadly all the Warners shows are way out of my range for travelling and I’d given up on the NEC as it was out of my range financially and sadly physically.
  2. I think it’s more Auto corrupt than correct at times Nick
  3. Let’s hope the Squadron Leader doesn’t go into a full blown Robert Shaw mode ………. Brian
  4. Only one word can describe this layout - Exquisite Brian
  5. And what’s on your list for after lunch Kevin?
  6. There are several videos available on You Tube Bob. Just put Liverpool Lime St Model Railway into search.
  7. I always spent a lot of time watching Lime St whenever it was at a show where I was, and I have been in awe ever since I first saw it when it was in its infancy at the East of England Showground. My last viewing was at Warley before lockdown and having worked out where it was in the Hall I made a beeline for it and had quite a bit of time in front of it before the crowds built up. Gentlemen. Thank you for sharing this masterpiece and for your heroics with taking this on the road. It has been much appreciated. I wish you and the layout all the best for the next chapter and wait with bated breath for the videos to keep us up to date with developments. Brian
  8. You forgot to add the Muhahahahahaha
  9. And before the compensation culture had arrived.
  10. Sounds like me with coffee
  11. Lovely to see this layout’s return. Always think this was one of Andy’s best. Looking forward to seeing more. Brian
  12. I would think scratchbuilding one of the local buildings would be an interesting exercise.
  13. Looking forward to giving this lubricant when it’s available.
  14. When I was experimenting with Dapol Ez couplings on one of my N gauge layouts I read somewhere that putting a small piece of foam between the wagon floor and the axle was a way of overcoming this issue. I haven’t tried this myself but just offer it as a snippet of information that someone out there shared Brian
  15. Clearly very well trained seagulls though with such careful and considered placement.
  16. Do I spy activity where the door used to be suggesting something is about to happen, while another “workman” adopts a traditional pose while holding the second door in place?
  17. I love the natural metallic sheen you’ve created on the plumbing. Very nice indeed. Brian
  18. We hear what you say …….. but
  19. Pat on the head! No chance if you’ve been trying all those flat caps on. Brian
  20. In my head I am still in my mid 30’s but the old bod is not so easily fooled having reached the life stage that Billy Connolly coined. You know your old when getting out of the chair provokes an “oooooh ya Buddha”
  21. Good job the pump wasn’t despatched in a crate otherwise the WKT would stand no chance of completion. Brian
  22. Absolutely awesome photos Thank you for sharing them. Brian
  23. Only thing to better 4 Panniers is ………… 4 Candles
  24. Railex has been the best exhibition for years that I can get to and as always looks to be an outstanding line up. With events disappearing and layouts dropping off the circuit due to many factors I’m sure we are all aware of, the organisers must be congratulated on putting this together and working to overcome difficulties presented. Too hot. Too wet. Too cold. We have to accept that there will always be a limit to what can be done - if anything, given that as stated above there is no alternative venue. I for one am looking forward to Railex24 Brian
