  1. Bridge over the River Wye Step by Step Pictorial: (1) Drill out the handrail holes in the supports. (2) Trim excess from the bottom of the supports. (3) Attach, and secure the uprights into the side plates. (4) Run some spare wire through the supports to open up the holes.
  2. “Bridge over the River Wye” update: Handrail supports secured into the side plate, primed and ready to paint at some point. I’m going to construct a brass central support which will sit in the river which will have one of the remaining spans sat on top.

  4. Bridge side plates primed, and the raw corner ready to go.
  5. Concept drawing of how I plan the dismantled Waterloo Branch river crossing to be. The bridge in a state of demolish, with one side complete with deck and the other hair side plates remaining - with the tunnel beyond.
  6. Ragstone Models white metal Great Western Buffer Stop. Stage eight, buffer stop assembly was left to dry overnight - I’ve given it a coat of primer, again leave to dry.
  7. Ragstone metal Great Western buffer stop assembly, I’ve two to build for the siding and headhunt. Ive also got a ground based water crane to build.

  9. With DCC bus and droppers installed, I’ve made progress on laying the actual track. Point motors will be fitted later, holes have been cut in the track bed under the points ready.
  10. The DCC bus power wires have been secured to the underside of the raised trackbed, I’ve also attached the droppers to the track that I’ve laid so far. However im unable to test it at the moment as i don’t have a controller yet!
  11. As this is the storage area I’ve decided to fit the bus line on top of the traverser to the side of the three storage lines, with male/female connectors either side.
