    I spoke with Dapol on the weekend regards the HEA, news is the CAD is being redrawn with the project definitely not dead. Certainly they’ll be a very popular model, with their prototypical short rakes.

    Dapol announced today at the Collectors event they are to produce a ConFlat wagon in O gauge, expected mid to late 2020.

    6439 arrived back today, I’m waiting on new number plates for the other 7444 which will become 7439 on extremely run down condition.

    Sounds good either way, I didn’t have a good look - not that I’d know what I was looking at to be honest ! How involved do you anticipate the conversion being for the average Joe plonk it down and watch it go round and round “modeller” like me ?

    EWS and Dutch wagons on display at Telford yesterday, not left China just yet but expected in the next 8-10 weeks, but before the Bogie E wagons.

    According to the chaps at Telford the models are having internal issues in China so will be delayed into Ned year - at least it gives us more time between these and the 14XX. The one they had on display did look stunning though - going to be worth the wait.

    A BR Green, and BR Blue/Grey example where on display at Telford looking very nice indeed, expected prior to Xmas to.

    A very nice BR Lined Green example was in the display case at Telford yesterday, expected before Xmas as well.

    Spoke with the guys at Dapol yesterday at Telford, the MK1s are now next year - more time to save up though is the positive.
