Atom, see above. It is a perfect drop in fit. Only issue is the new chassis is lighter than the old one and depending on your needs you may need to add extra weight.

It is the new DCC ready chassis. BC (Before Covid) by watching around i was able to pick up several B1s with then new chassis fairly cheaply, pounds 50 to 60. Several had had their body badly weathered and I suspect some came from individuals who had gone for the Hornby B1 which, I have to admit, is a better model. However, I had the Bachmann bodies and the new chassis was a lot cheaper than building one.

Not just Florida but pretty well anywhere in the US (with a few exceptions). It is the same here in Canada with very few exceptions

Really appreciated the pictures of the Garden St box. Interesting as well because i have a picture that suggests there should be a couple of filled in windows at ground level.

This is most interesting since i am in the process of starting to upgrade my Grimsby Station. Currently it is essentially set of buildings using the general format with a fair bit of artistic licence and no overall roof. It is further complicated by the fact that I have had to reverse the layout. My period is about 1955/60 and I have been trying to get hold of some pictures covering that time frame, especially Platform 3 looking from the old bus station side. A Gentleman and the RM Forum has most graciously taken some pictures of the current state, but more pictures are always welcome if you have any sources. As a matter of interest did you photo-shop in the signal box or have you made an actual model. Again it is of some interest because photos of the box from the Louth/Cleethorpes end are rarer than a Hens tooth and that extra tall set of footsteps are rather unique - like the box itself. FYI i live in Canada.
