Isn't that every day for you with some things that get posted? - At least we can use the 'ignore option'

  3. Is it just me who finds all those festive neon coloured light covered trains everyone seems to be raving about, rather naff?

Sadly the truth is that the Christmas trains keep many preserved railways going through the winter. Families love them and as long as they do railways will keep doing it.

  4. Has anyone built the LRM, BARTON WRIGHT 0-6-0? I’ve sent a email to pay by PayPal, just wondering how others got on with the kit

There have been a couple of threads on the class 23

Some drawings appeared on this thread

There is then a building thread from about half way down page 33 here

There are loads of pictures on the web of this class.

Look forward to seeing your progress.

  5. I am still about -  just a bit of a 'troublesome time' - hope all are well, will be back online soon, remain safe my friends.

Happy new year, and take it easy Bob, look forward to stopping a train at Arley sometime next year rather than just rolling straight on through.

  7. Always find it a bit sad when I realise someone no longer visits/posts on RMweb. Those I have been used to seeing on a regular basis. Just discovered another. It's life I know....

Change possibly brings some to come or go. For me the new look is harder to navigate and I'm finding it less attractive to use the site, which is a shame

It certainly is, the balast was going down on Saturday, and they were hoping to put the turntable in on Sunday. We saw an interesting use of a blow torch to make effects on the grass.
