My other great interest is the middle ages, especially England and Wales in the 14th/15th century.
I write historical novels. Two have been published.
I also enjoy walking, beer and eating out. Sadly I can no longer walk as far as I did or drink as much as I should like.

I work in 7mm FS. Currently building sundry wagon kits, upgrading others, and selling some on as they are surplus to requirements.

Soon I need to get my head around either working on the layout (which has lain semi derelict for some years) or building some of my loco kits.

You can close down the goods yards and shut up the stations

You can tear down the boxes, replace them with cables

You can put your catenary all over the place

You can rip up the tracks, but it
